As bad as he's been the team has also only scored 12 goals in his last 8 starts. He wasn't getting any help either.

But clearly, a Demko deal.

Finally Benning makes a small deal where he gets a pick in return rather than randomly adding one.

Pretty much my mapped timeline to a 'T' for Demko to get a real shot/call up. By the end of the season, he'll be putting a strangle hold on the starting job.

Demko has only played like 15 games since returning to play from concussion so I hope they are prepared to get him some quality time in VAN.

This seems to be a move for the rest of season... if not Demko, then McKenna or Bachman.. lol

To me, the weird thing is that Markstrom has been playing really well, and Demko hasn't played a ton since returning from concussion.

I understand why the Senators needed to do it, they need a more capable goalie with Anderson out.

Why would a team that should clearly be holding onto draft picks be moving one out for a guy who's contract is up after this season?
