Default Need Replacements In 2nd Year Fantrax Baseball Keeper

Looking for replacements owners in a Fantrax 16 team H2H keeper league entering its second season. Here are the league settings: https://www.fantrax.com/fantasy/leag...jntc6zgv/rules
Last year was the first year I have ever done a pay league and did not properly vet owners. I was mainly concerned with filling the league and ironing out the league rules. The league had a few "trouble" owners to put it nicely. Those owners are now gone and we're looking to continue to build a fun, competitive league. My hope is that this amount of turnover becomes an anomaly after this season. We had one team drop out shortly after the draft, three teams were not invited back to due the very large amount of league disruption they caused, and the rest are probably a combination of normal league turnover and not wanting to deal with the disruptions from the first season. Hopefully after this year there are a lot less issues and close to zero turnover next year. I can go into further detail on the "disruptions" with any interested parties but it is safe to say the disruptions will not repeat themselves again.

League buy in is $50. Here are the open teams:

Because I've been a long time member of this forum and because I was one of the "trouble owners", I feel the need to respond to this so others who are even considering joining know what they're getting into. Also this is a money league with people you don't know so I've already made that mistake.

We were told coming into the year there would be no rule changes after the draft. Commish was very clear on that. Of course that was not the case because the commish just did whatever he wanted and made myself and the other "trouble owners" out to be crazy every time a rule was changed. It was mindboggling.

    To name a few:

    - league changed from a weekly roster to a daily roster (after the commish drafted Ohtani...who is extremely more valuable in daily vs weekly)
    - trade deadline changed without league consent
    - season end date changed without league consent
    - which meant the playoff start date was moved up without league consent while teams were battling for the final spots
    - anytime complaints were made our posts were often deleted shortly after by the commish

Anyways. I understand it was my choice to join and that was my mistake. Hopefully no one else makes that same mistake.

Not the place for that but basically everything in the post above is incorrect. Hopefully the forum mods delete your post.

it kind of is the place for it though isn't it? I mean, if someone's going to drop $50 - and there's concerns from former members about the league... why not air it out.

HR's not the type to make crap up about another member. Especially on this level.

Instead of saying 'it's not the place' maybe - provide a valid response.

If anyone has any questions they can e-mail/pm me. I say something here, then hockeyrobot responds, and soon we're in an argument instead of me trying to find owners for the league. I'll say again that they're 100% incorrect in everything they said and I hope a league mod deletes their post. They may be a solid contributor on this forum but they are one of the worst owners I have ever had in any of my leagues, and I have proof as well as other owners to back up everything I'm saying.

It wouldn't hurt to have an owner or two vouch for the league(s) for which you post openings. Maybe HR is an outlier. Maybe not. Regardless, it wouldn't hurt your cred to have referrals from other owners who have had positive experiences in your leagues, especially when you're asking complete strangers to drop their hard earned coin into the pot. Maybe even provide a guest link to the site so the potential new owner can check out the other owners, comments, posts, etc...

Well....I was just going to post my experience and let people decide for themselves....but I won't be called a liar. Especially when I've joined plenty of leagues through this forum, been a fantastic owner, and I think the only time I've gotten into an argument on here was with a Preds fan over Weber smashing Zetterberg's head into the glass.

Anyways....I'm not going to go through forum posts of the league because I kid you not this guy would just delete things when people complained. But in response to everything I said was "100% incorrect" here is the screen grab from the System Log (something he can't delete).

I'm unfollowing this since you're not going to drop this but you're still not right, I still stand behind everything I said, and those changes were clearly explained to everyone in the league as they happened along with why they happened. You're just validating booting you from the league at the end of last season.

Just to be 100% clear... you are going to stand behind everything you said.... but then you go on to admit that the changes happened, but it is alright cause they were clearly explained to everyone?

This would be the equivalent to Gary Bettman saying that right now in the middle of the season, no NHL team can have more than 3 players on their team with 30 or more points. But its okay, cause it was clearly explained to all the NHL GMs?
