Multiple missed calls in both games on all sides. Nothing new here.

The one call stands out but yeah the officiating was not good at all yesterday. Tons of randomness and even the video review people didn't bring their A game.

That was brutal, can't believe a season changing screwup like that was allowed to stand. I feel bad for all the Saints fans out there. Plus a Saints/Pats Superbowl would have been amazing to watch
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

What's actually lost on all this is if the Saints just ran the ball 3 times, they could have forced the Rams to use timeouts, and prolly ran the clock down to about 45s at the worst with a 3pt lead. Payton drawing up 3 passing plays is in hindsight questionable.

New age coaching is being aggressive, but if Payton wasn't as aggressive, he prolly could have put a lot more pressure on McVay and his offense to move the ball with 0 timeouts.

Like Brady. All they did was run. Until it was 3rd and 10 and they decided "ok we need 11 yards now".

I do agree they should be able to challenge that call. Yes of course there were missed calls, but that was so egregious with MASSIVE implications. Shouldn't be missed.

And if Brees didn't get that 11yrds, they would still have a chip shot with one of the leagues top 3 kickers. You have to believe it's in when you get that close to the end-zone. You also have Ingram/Kamara. Running it would still be what I would have done. Run 2 times, play action the 3rd even if you wanna pass and not take Brees out of the game.

CFL has PI challenges for god sake lol.

Sounds like they might put it into action for next season.

I don't know what that Rams cornerback was thinking. He was there in plenty of time. If he turns his head he has a pick 6.

Well he'll be playing in the superbowl so at least he gets a chance to react better next time

He admitted he knew he was beat and was just preventing a penalty. He had no idea where the ball was, but knew Brees could give him a pass that would be a TD.

It's like taking a penalty to save a goal in hockey.
