In 6th year, always a GM not happy because of low trade turnovers. The League is pretty well set for the duration, with a 48 Minor stash of prospects. The FA ranks are very slim. You need to comb the AHL and Juniors to keep up to the gems on the rise.

12 Team League, weekly H2h, 20 active roster, 2Gs, 4C/4LW/4RW/6D. Category points, favour some grit, and Ds get extra points. Cs are also precious. 8 on the Bench, and a 5-man IR slot, and that allows for easy replacement with under-performing all-stars on the rise to replace a stud in pain.

Best asset is the ability to move Minors up and down to make room for off-nights and recent call-ups, as long as less than 80 NHL games played. That increases your GP stats.

4 round prospect draft every summer right after NHL Draft.

In other words, GMs get to work their teams pretty well daily and spend some quality time digging deep in the world of prospects. FA claims are restricted to 3 per week. Chances are your Minors have more value than found in the FA ranks.

Not many trades, which only means that the Cap limits and Minor roster work together as a system, to keep busy with your team as a whole.

Alright. Ridiculous opportunity for the right GM. Kickass Cap team, 2nd overall with 2 x 1st round picks this year.

Obviously too laid back a league for young active GMs. With a 49 Minor roster, you can watch your team grow, look for those 7th round gems, just read all the dobber articles and build your team accordingly.

Also, we play 3x H2H weekly, so a bad week against 1 GM may mean a good week against 2 others.

This is a free league. All costs are covered. So there is only bragging rights.
