NHL officiating is terrible. I think the players should be allowed to hit and cross check the refs whenever they F it up. You’d see a lot fewer “oh I’m only human and game moves so fast” BS from these clowns if the players could just burry them when they missed a call. Instead of going after Lindholm (because he won’t fight) when he tries to end McDavids career, let Lucic knock the living the crap out the worthless idiot standing there watching it and apparently unclear on how to actually do his job or make that complicated whistle contraption work. Also, I’m 99.999999% sure the officials have agreed they are sick of Hitchcock whining about McDavid not getting the calls and have agreed to call zero penalties against anyone who does anything to McDavid. How else can you explain the no call on Lindholm?

The stuff that annoys me most is "putting the whistle away" when it comes to penalties. Same with "playoff hockey". It annoys me that a penalty can be called at 10min into the 2nd period of the 82nd game where the team takes a 2-1 lead on a pp goal which ends up being the game winner to sneak into the playoffs wouldn't be called with 2min left in the same game, or anytime in the 83rd game.
