If TSN stats are correct (which I know they are not always because they have Luukkonen as the shutout winner over Kaz) then I think I am within future two points of Axe.

I was excited to see that when I checked TSN, but then realized it was not on the scoring spreadsheet. So I dig deeper and found out he did not play. Does anyone know a more reliable website for the junior stats?

I take the stats direct from. The IIHF website. So far I've been using fame logs. At the end I double check everything with tourney totals, but with their new website and them ditching Pdf logs, it is increasingly difficult.

JUst to be clear I am not questioning your stats. I was just commenting that TSN did not have it right!

Here's the pre-Gold medal update, and also pre double-check. I just noticed that Kochenkov (the Russian goalie) was picked (just under Peter, not Pyotr, based on my list), so I updated his 9 points (4 wins, and an assist today!!).

(Holy shit that's more than usual... it's either me being worse this year, or the IIHF website making it more difficult since I could only really rely on the game logs per goal, manually adding stuff up... who knows.

I know that historically the tie-breaker has been goals (kind of like a shoot-out, hehheh), but I don't see it in the first post (whoops!). Axeman has 50, while PenguinHunter has 39, so Axeman gets the win by a hair!
