Trade Koskinen?
Hey guys, my goalies in my Yahoo league are: Jones, Koskinen, Markstrom, Crawford. Cats are GAA, SVS, SV %, W, SHO. I've been offered a combo of Luongo + Greiss for my Koskinen. THis would allow me to clean up my goalie depth, drop Markstrom and Crawford and use my streaming spots for forwards and other needs until Duchene and Klingberg return. What do you guys think? I know it would be selling high on Kosk, but there's no guarantee he keeps this up! Is this a fair return? It benefits us both-I clean up my goaltending and add depth and he gets a good 3rd G-his are Quick and Hellebuyck.

Is that really an upgrade....Luongo isn't exactly playing well and Greiss and Lehner are a revolving door.
I prefer Jones, Koskinen, Markstrom & Crawford over Jones, Luongo, Greiss.
Luongo & Greiss are basically like owning Markstrom & Crawford anyways.
I don't like this move.

Just posted this in another thread, but I don't see how Kos loses the #1 any time soon. Griess has played well, but so has Lehner, so you're only getting ~60% of the NYI starts. Bobby Lu gets hurt too much. I'd stay with Kos. If you want to solidify, I guess you could try to grab Talbot on the cheap as insurance, but I wouldn't do that deal.

I see him as a streaming option, but depends on your league, if GM's like to hoard goalies hold on to him but if there are some readily available on the wire might as well just ride the hot hands.Originally Posted by stefan17

These are my thoughts EXACTLY. You're just trading one unsure thing (though one who is playing well and doesn't seem to be giving up the #1 any time soon) for another set (Luongo/injury, Greiss/timeshare). I wouldn't do it either.
