I can't stop the love fest, lol.

2 goals tonight, over a point per game again (30 pts in 29 games).

His shooting % was north of 20, now it's a more reasonable 16.8 (albeit still a little high).

My format doesn't have sog, but the guy is a beast shots wise (3.28 shots/game), with the game still going.

His stats have also balanced out, 16 G 14 A and he's a +9.

Perhaps the most impressive stat, he's only had 3 powerplay points (10%), while other high end guys are 30 or more % of production on the pp typically.

Oh, and did I mention he's still not on the 1st pp, and he's only 22?

I also think people underestimate his upside, he was picked 9th overall and he's busting out in his 2nd full season. Saying he'll be a 60-70 pt guy may be selling the guy short, he looks like a guy with 70+ upside to me. Wait until he gets on pp #1 and starts putting up more powerplay points, and the guy is a beast physically.

Might I also add he's got 16 goals in 29 games? That's a 45 goal full season pace, or 44 goals in 79 games. Not saying he'll keep up that pace, but I see 35 for sure.

I watched this guy in junior. Looked awkward then but had insane speed up the wing and a pro shot when he was 1y or 17. Hes only going to keep getting better. I took him in the 7th round in a u keeper league and look like a genius now for doing so lol

I'm loving it. I gotta thank the people on this forum - I thought about dropping him in the preseason but was urged not to. Was hoping for 20 goals, 45 points. Looks like we're getting a hell of a lot more than that.

Nice man, I grabbed him off the free agent market and at the moment I won't have room to keep him based on my other guys, but we'll see what happens! Nice to have options, plus goals are at a premium in my league.

I grabbed Meier as a free agent after our draft this year as well. San Jose had a good schedule and I read good things about him here on Dobber Forums. The rest is history. Damn sweet history
