    Default Tarasenko for Bishop?

Looking to upgrade my goalie situation because my stats are not looking very good for W, GAA & SV%.

Would I be crazy to trade Tarasenko for Bishop?

Yes, this is not a good deal for you. Age and health are not on Bishop's side.

Aim higher if you're giving up a player with the caliber of Tank.

Keeping in mind tarasenkos name value is almost always higher than his actual output value in most leagues. The last 4 years he's been a 66-75 point player and this season he's pacing for 58 points (likely to improve I think?) and he shoots a lot. He has never taken that next step yet is often valued as though he is a ppg player or an elite asset. The numbers over a good large size show he's a really good player but not elite.

If you need a starting goalie I'd try to capitalize on his name value and find someone looking for a buy low ish. Recognize that you are selling him when he's pacing for 58 points and that he is a better player than that. So you are selling low. I'd probably wait if I owned him.

Realistically bishop on a decent Dallas team is probably a fair return right now but you want to win the deal so aim higher or wait until he heats up a bit.
