Letang for Svechnikov + 2nd

For league in sig. It would be my Letang for his Svechnikov + 2nd rd pick next year. I tried going after his 1st but he won't include it and offered his 2nd instead. I am starting a retool and have had my eyes on Svechnikov since his dominance in the OHL last year. I've thrown out feelers for Letang and surprisingly no one is interested. I guess his age and previous injuries are enough to scare people off. I currently sit 11th out of 12th and am looking to stockpile young players who break out in a year or two as well as picks by trading some of my older players who are still performing well enough.

Would I be nuts to make this move? Will rep where possible. Cheers

Before I answer this, where did you rank last year (out of 12 teams) and what place are you in now?

I'm currently 10th out of 12. I started off decent but just kept sinking. I went all in a couple of years ago and traded away a lot of my younger guys who weren't performing to their abilities to older guys who were. Didn't work out. Finished 5th last year and 2nd the year before. Would you make this deal knowing this? I don't think I'm getting max value for Letang but I got no other interest in him and I really want Schvenikov...

If you really want to go into a rebuild, its seems ok to me. Svech is going to be a special player.
