Do you need to make this decision right now? This is something I would wait till the offseason to decide on.
Hi everyone,
I need your expert advise.
In a keeper league, no position point only, who do you prefer and why. I'm rebuilding, so I could be patient (2-3 years).
So who will be the best asset, by how much and why.
Thanks

Anyone, please.
Dylan Strome for me, if you can be patient.
Many have given up on him... but I still like him, personally.
I really think he looked solid in the O and junior tournaments.
I just think he'll have a very slow (Couturier-like) rise.
Some of these bigger-framed kids, especially centers, develop slowly.
The 2015 draft was chock-full of talent - and everybody keeps harping on him because he was drafted #3 and
Marner went 4, and Rantanen went 10, and Boeser and Barzal and Chabot and Connor and Konecny all went 15-25 and have panned out.
Just pretend Dylan Strome went... 19 or something.
Treat him like that.
I think Schmaltz's game is already there.
What you see is what you get.
Pulju... I... I don't know.
I can't say I have a great read on him.
But I keep going back to the fact that CBJ GM-JK passed on him in favour of Dubois - which was a smart move.
Something feels off about him.
I've been acquiring Strome left and right, with the long game in mind as well.. he's cheap but i still think he's got a solid ceiling with 70pt potential. being patient and wanting to be patient are two totally different things

I agree with everything here, except in why I'm worried about Puljujarvi. What worries me is more that Edmonton doesn't seem to know what to do with him, as opposed to him as a player.
That's not to say that he'd be a homerun if he were on another team, but the team worries me more than his (theoretical) talent does.
