I'm always hesitant with goalies. They are so up and down year to year. Dubnyk has at least been one of the relatively consistent ones.

I'd probably pass unless I really needed a goaltender.

His RW are Rantanen, Marner, Pasta, Boeser, and Nylander. I only say do it because he’s so deep at RW, and his goalie situation of Howard, Ullmark and Mrazek is not deep at all.

Seeing as you're absolutely stacked on right wings and a little weak in the G, i'd probably go for it. Although i'm not sure I would expect too much from him immediately, he seems to be a little shaky in net this last month. I'd probably test the waters and try to counter offer for Dubs + a LW and see if they go for it. If they're a Nylander fanboy you might get lucky.

It may be a personal preference where I have a hard time dealing skater talent for goalies because their so up and down. I do worry a bit about Minnesota in the coming years, as I feel like they have some aging core members which will drag the team down a bit.

My goalies are not great as you can see. He also has Quick and Varlamov on his roster. Could maybe counter for one of them.

Definitely not, unless they are dirt cheap. Go after Dubnyk if you're going after anyone.

I would pursue a goalie, maybe not Dubby. But there aren't many good, top goalies this yr.

It's hard to get a goalie any other way, most of the top prospects are already in other team's farm systems. They're valued so highly that they cost a fortune. I'm in year 3 of being an expansion team so I don't think I'm doing too bad. Maybe I can cook up another offer for Dubnyk and try to keep Nylander.
