D: Gostisbehere, Krug, Klefbom, Hanifin
G: Dubnyk, Kinkaid
2 Open spots for daily adds (Ott White, Det Nielsen right now)

I'm right now in middle out of the 16 teams, but have the most points overall. I'm mildly going for the champion as its really random in the playoffs. I like the picks to really gun for it next year, but giving up McDavid for Giroux really hurts my keepers (age and just points in general)

What do you guys think?

Keep 3 is the key phrase. There is almost no price at which I would trade McDavid in a league like that.

I echo what others have said. I'm not sure why you would even entertain something like this.

In a limited, points only keeper, you keep McDavid.

General rule of thumb: DO NOT trade mcdavid in a limited keeper. The only exception I would make is possibly if the trade all but guaranteed you a championship THIS year and set you up in future years to compete. Essentially an extremely obvious one sided trade in your favor that will likely get veto consideration from the league because its that unfair. Otherwise you keep him. This trade is not even close. Mcdavid all day everyday.

No. Unless you’re getting mackinnon, Kucherov and Matthews then you don’t trade McDavid in a keep 3.

I'm an outlier. I'd be willing to trade McDavid (in any format) if it can get you a championship. However, I don't like this deal. I hurts you this year. And those aren't enough picks to make enough difference for next year.

On top of that, if you haven't shopped McDavid around, you shouldn't trade him. There should be a trading war, especially in a keep 3. The return should be ridiculous. Your offer is no where close to ridiculous.

Last year, I traded McDavid in my league . 8 pieces for 8 pieces (I win each one slightly), on top of that , I got the equivalent of 7 first round picks in the next 2 years (many of them lottery picks likely ) for McDavid . It got me a championship last year (reg season and playoffs) .

That was the only way I would trade McDavid . He had to pay !
