Patches goal heavy and shoots a ton. Varacek should get more points overall.. Both having a poor year but without extra weight on goals I would take Voracek.

IR (2 max):
Voracek for me. A little better usage than Pacioretty and has shown us the higher upside. Pacioretty doesn't have to be "the guy" in Vegas and his ice time reflects that--he's under 17 minutes overall vs the 19 minute range in Montreal. I also think it's worth noting his shot volume has decreased quite a bit tpo...he had been well over 3 shots per game and was a 300+ SOG beast before the trade but he's on pace for 214 SOG so far. That's a sizable difference and Voracek is no slouch when it comes to SOG either, being in the 220-250 range the last handful of seasons.
Patches has picked up lately but without hits included (I'd say his one big advantage) I'd want Voracek here. It's harder for me to predict how Pacioretty's season plays out with his new team.
