Re: Matt Duchene leaves game with lower body
Thu, Dec 6The Ottawa Senators might be without Matt Duchene (lower body) for the foreseeable future.
Advice: Coach Guy Boucher said more should be known in the next few days, but Duchene could be out long-term. Duchene was injured chasing down an icing in Thursday night's loss to the Montreal Canadiens. He went straight to the dressing room after a discussion with the referee allowed him to leave the ice despite the icing call. Ottawa would be in for an even tougher season if they are forced to be without Duchene for a stretch. He leads the team with 34 points in 29 games.
