    Default Messy Backfield Situation

    10 team, PPR.

Currently sitting in 3rd (tied w 2nd on record, 8-5). Playoffs run week 15-16, so trying to hang on to a playoff spot. Going up against the 1st place team this week who on paper are clearly the strongest team (though hopefully without Gordon this week).

I just lost Conner, so my backfield is currently a hot mess. Any help in assembling my lineup this week is appreciated. Bold players are locked in to start.

    QB (1): Luck
RB (2): Ware v BAL (bad matchup, should get volume), Ekeler v CIN (great matchup, shared volume), Jackson v CIN (great matchup, shared volume), Samuels at OAK (great matchup, pass game work for pass heavy team)
    WR (2): Juju, Hilton
TE (1): Gronk at MIA, Samuels at OAK (great matchup, pass game work for pass heavy team)
FLEX (1): One of the RB's above, Golladay at ARI

    Any thoughts?

    QB/WR you got it
    TE: Gronk
    RB: Jackson, Samuel
    Flex: Golladay

Jackson vs Ekler is the big coin flip. I think Jackson runs like a lead back, Ekler runs like a passing down back. Jacksons patience at the line was something to watch. I'm personally edging towards Jackson.

Am I crazy to go Jackson/Ekeler at RB, and Samuels over Gronk at TE? I know that limits my upside, but Gronk isn't offering much of that this season anyway.

I was thinking that too. That's going boom or bust on the TE position, but then pretty much saying "I'm going to get 1 of the RBs right" with the Ekler/Jackson as your RBs. Both won't do amazing.

I'd go Gronk at TE, but can't really fault you going Samuel. Samuel will out point Gronk likely. But will Ekler/Jackson out point Gronk? ahhhh I dunno. One will, but will the other?

Great debate for sure....but I wouldn't want to lose benching Gronk while starting 2 RBs from the same team haha.

I would go Samuels, Ekeler, Gronk.
