I prefer Eichel, though it is extremely close for me.
Fair or not, but as a second overall pick, Eichel will likely have more perceived value in trade negotiations, even though I think the two players will statistically be very close most years.

Eichel because of his opportunity. He is the best player on Buffalo and there’s no doubt he stays on L1 and PP1. Point is a bit more burried on a team that has him as the 2nd / 3rd best player, and will have times when he’s not on the top line(s). That’s enough for me to give Eichel the edge.
