Young defenseman to gamble on

have an opening for a d-man and the wire is barren. Like Cernak for the hits but Bayreuther seems like a more talented offensive player and is getting 2nd PP time. Both seem like they are up for awhile as they are producing and there are holes in their respective line-ups. Thoughts on either fella since I'm not that familiar with either of them?


Currently have Subban, Jones, Chabot, Ekblad, Cholowski, Skeji and Keith back there but don't have to cut any of them to pick up a dman.

Man, I dont know how you calculate expectations for plusminus. I mean, probably in the long run a decent player in Tampa is a plus, but what do you do after that.

If you focus on Cernak's hits too...I think he's up to 40 in 13 games. I've got, in theory, other offensive minded Dmen so having someone who hits a little bit helps.
