I agree and haven't rushed to add Desmith. Short term Tampa has no back to backs next week either so Domingue could easily get 3 starts where I see Desmith getting 2/3 for Pitts next week. After that I'll have to take a harder look at schedule and usage in Pittsburgh.

This is a completely undisguised blessing to Murray owners with IR room.

I wish I had dealt him for anything reasonable at the beginning of the year in the dynasty I took over, but couldn't get a quality dynasty forward in return, even to teams wanting to upgrade or get younger in net. I guess I should've aimed lower.

Murray is looking like another Neuvirth.

I've owned Murray in two of my three keepers, and have traded him in both. My last deal was Murray, a waiver pick (we only get two per year) and Atkinson for Ehlers and Hart. I'm an expansion team, so I am thinking two or three years out.

As long as you were smart and handcuffed Murray with Jarry this is totally fine.

    This^

The exact same thing happened last year... Jarry was the starter as soon as Murray was hurt.

    He's the one to own

Can we all agree that Desmith is a better goalie than Jarry now?

Desmith is now 9-4-4 on the season with a 2.34 GAA and a .925 Save Percentage. If you think about his record, he's given up 10% of his goals against (4 of 41) in overtime pond hockey.

    I agree with this statement.

Been wondering..is it the time to buy-low on Murray or would dealing for him be a mistake since he seems to be an injury-prone guy...

Depends in how low is low. Twelve months ago, I owned him in two keepers pools, and have since traded him in both (once in January, once in early November). I wouldn't trade back for him unless I was getting an absolute steal of a deal.

    Kinda what I thought.
I'm into a couple of leagues. I own Murray since I acquired him as Talbot and Murray values were high. Not going to try to deal him until he gets back on his feet (if it ever happens).
Been thinking 'bout making a trade offer in my other leagues to get him but I don't really know how low I should be offering.
