- League size (number of teams)
- Roster size and position requirements (starting/bench/farm)
- Scoring settings (which you've indicated)
- Keepers (which you've indicated as 10)
- You're roster and projected keepers

This specific trade will depend heavily on the above.
- M. Tkachuk is getting lucky with his S% right now, he's probably on a 70-75 point pace otherwise. I'd peg him 65-75.
- Backstrom is pretty great and pretty consistent, good for 75-85 typically, with the odd 70 or 90 point year. He is 30 though, but plays a style that should age well. I don't see him falling off a cliff.
- Laine after being lucky with his shooting years 1 and 2 is unlucky this year. I peg him at 65-75 in a normal year. He gets a bonus if goals are weighted heavier.

Based on the limited information, I would want Tkachuk/Backstrom in this deal. Keeper implications might change things a bit though. Others have lots of love for Laine on here, but I tend to be more tempered on him. Great goal scorer though for leagues where there's bonuses.

Thank you so much for the advice! Updated my original post but you gave me a lot to think about! More worried about Lane's ceiling blowing up, but perhaps I'm just too head in the clouds about him!

What does your roster look like and do you have to drop someone to make room?

Would be dropping either Schmaltz Dzingle Tierney Sam Reinhart or Gallagher. Also have Schieffle McDavid RNH Barzal Debrincat Connor Marner and Arvidsson.
