    Kristian Vesalainen named #KHL rookie of the week after the 19yo had 2g and 2a in 4 games for #Jokerit averaging an ice-time of 16.39 per game.

    Jokerit was just eliminated from the KHL playoffs opening the door for Vesalainen to return to Manitoba in the near future.

    He did so so out there I guess, for a 19 year old? He started out pretty hot and then cooled down, it seems.

    He can’t help the Jets this year unless there are major injuries. Appleton goes in ahead of him I think.
