There must be someone else in their system more equipped to do the role they're looking for from a 9-minute man. I've never been a fan of Dal Colle, but you have to feel bad for a guy who never gets a fair chance to prove himself.

I was just looking at his profile on The Hockey News and noticed that he has only played 5 NHL games. I thought for sure it was more than that. I guess he just hasn't earned a decent shot?

Not before this season but he's earned it now. It's ridiculous to have some plugs like Kuhnhackl playing big minutes while actual talent is warming the bench.

They signed so many mediocre vets to multi-year deals. It's not a friendly place for new younger talent to move up the ranks.
