Talbot for Hamilton?

My goalies have been fighting the injury bug and now i am down to 2 in a play 2 per night. Not ideal. This trade hit my in box today.

Best goalies on the waiver are guys like Greiss, Schneider, Rittich, Keumper.... Yikes.

Anybody here make this deal?

Wire is pretty D barren. Morrissey, E. Johnson, Muzzin, Martinez, that sort of ilk.

I would grab Morrissey of that group. his stock is rising. You've got enough depth on D to pull this off and not really miss Hamilton.

I think the risk reward with Talbot is worth it. You can afford to lose hamilton (who hasn't been great himself) not he back end and some pretty decent replacements available to stream. Morrissey/Muzzin/Johnson all have their pluses and are pretty good imo as far as starting 6th d men goes.

Edit: Forgot to make this point - you need another Goalie in a start 2 per night. Talbot is shaky right now but this is a pretty low cost for a guy that will likely play 60ish games this year on a team that could go either way.

I will mull it over today (if the offer is still in my inbox). I am worried that Koskinen may steal quite a few starts from Talbot over the next stretch and maybe even beyond. I was hoping Koski would put in a bad game last night
