Always looking to get young, skilled players onto my team. Batherson has 20 points in 14 AHL games and has gotten the call up. Is this kid worth picking up? Where does he slot in line wise?

Line-wise it could be anywhere TBH. The NHL has shifted to spreading out the scoring. He could be on the fourth line getting decent ice time or he could be on the top line in the spot occupied by Nick Paul last game (Zack Smith could end up there too).
I would not drop Carter for him. How exactly does your league work and what is your full roster?

Yahoo H2H - My roster is in my sig. I've got a fairly good team with my goalies looking a little weak. I struggle in the pims and hits dept in comparison to other teams but I picked up Gudbranson to fix that. If I drop him for Batherson I could pick up gudbranson or another D that will get me those stats fairly easily. I'm currently sitting in 7th out of 14 teams.

You don't have your league on display. The guy is an offensive player who should put up numbers. Pierre says the guy will be an elite level talent.

Think Mark Stone, not only because he'll replace him as the Sens transition to a new guard, but they play similarly. High hockey IQ, slick hands, good shot. His skating is average at best. Depending on your definition of 'elite', his upside is somewhere around 65-75pts. He'll be a better real life player than he'll be a fantasy asset however.

I'm really cheering for Batherson. He's from my hometown so hoping for great things. I used to party with his father when he played for the Acadia Axemen. Ole Normie was a helluva hockey player himself back in the day.
