    Default EK/Allen for Provorov/Bob

    Hey all,

I'm in a multicat league that counts the following: goals, assists, +/-, PPP, SHP, GWG, SOG, PMs, FW, hits, blocks, wins, GAA, Sv%, Shutouts.

IÂ’ve been offered Provorov and Bobrovsky for my Erik Karlsson and Jake Allen.

EK was my one of my keepers last year but I probably wonÂ’t keep him again unless his numbers or situation improves.

    Thoughts?

Don't panic sell Karlsson. He hasn't had a great start, sure, but he is more than capable of pulling it around and ending up in the 60-70pt mark. The season is young, he's adjusting to a new country/team/style, getting his family settled etc etc. It'll click; form is temporary, quality is permanent.

As for the trade itself, Bob is a lot better than Allen, Prov is a lot worse than EK, it evens out into you both improving one area to hurt another, which would be fine if your roster is D-heavy. But I'd hold back on any EK trades myself...

I'd need to see your roster. This is a multi-cat league which is a better format for Provorov. It's also a league with goalie ratios, which is Allen's weakness. So your current roster situation is pretty relevant here.
