I have been offered W.Karlsson for my Cam Talbot. I already have Dubnyk and Crawford as my other 2 goalies. My league is straight point totals. so goals, assists, shots, plus minus.. W, SO, Saves, SV%
Also at the end of the year we only keep one goalie, and as of right now it would be dubnyk
12 team keeper, Keep 7 players, H2H. Categories (G, A, +/-, PPP, SHP, GWG, SOG, W, GAA, SV%, SHO)
C: Matthews, Barkov, Mackinnon, Horvat
LW: Draisaitl, Bertuzzi, Nelson, Hertl, Arvidsson

last year Karlsson got 738 points. Cam Talbot got 704

So Talbot in a poor year got a shade less than Karlsson in his career year. I'll lean goalie in this case.

The above being said, if you didn't trade Karlsson for Talbot, could you trade him for a BETTER goalie, because of the discrepancy between goalie/goalie and skater/skater (Karlsson being better than the average skater while Talbot is now an average goalie)?
If the answer to that question is no, and goalies get you more points, then Talbot is the own.

So approach it the other way. If goalies get more points, could you get a better forward for Talbot.

I played last season in a baseball points league and the balance between batters and pitchers was ridicilous.. this could be the case here - A player like Karlsson with a career year finnish with almost even points to an average goalie?!
