Cam Talbot
Another manager in the first league in my sig just dropped Cam Talbot. I have the top waiver spot. Would you drop Lehner for him?
The obvious answer is yes (IMO), but the keeper rules in that league are based on where you drafted the guy, and I got Lehner in the 21st round (second to last round of our draft). We get 5 keepers, only 1 can be a goalie. Dropping him would permanently void his keeper draft capital. Is Lehner's potential as a solidified starter on an improved (?) NYI squad next season at a late-round discount enough to stand pat this season and ignore Talbot's presumed ROS advantage? Since it's a points-based league, Talbot's extra starts would go a long way.
Note that I got Gibson in the 9th round, which also seems like very good value for next year. So there's a chance I wouldn't keep Lehner anyway.
As I type this, it seems like I've talked myself into picking up Talbot. If anybody disagrees, please save me from myself.
