Just received an offer of Stamkos and a 3rd round pick for B Tkachuk and my 1st round. I like Stamkos, but I am also optimistic about Tkachuks potential. League stats are in signature. What are your thoughts?

Ill go against everybody and say keep tkachuk.... With PIM and hits hes very valuable, and with eichel peterssen and kuznetsov as your centers... You should be ok... Your left wings are very weak... Brady is your best one

Stammer had 72 PIM himself last year (not his 1st year over 70PIM in his career either) ... as well, he normally has 70-100 hits -- this is forgotten value in Stammer.
A lot of the predictions for B. Tkachuk over the summer were a joke - "he's a 50-60pt CEILING forward" - yes, that's why he went 4th overall. Realistically, he's more like a 65-75pt forwards with 50-100 PIM & 75-125 hits per year.
Stammer's a 80+ floor forward with similar PIM & HIT. He's 28... There's 5+yrs of high end Stammer on the table
