Default Week 9 Pickups & Starts

Heading into crunch time, I'm 5-3 and have to make up some ground despite the most points in the league. Here are my situations with most big bye weeks done. PPR.

QB: Russell Wilson is now my only QB with Winston self destructing last week. Dare I pick up Fitzpatrick? Other FA QBs include Alex Smith (who I already dropped due to lack of upside), Mayfield, Osweiler, Carr, Beathard, Darnold, Mariota, etc. Any worth a pick up? Would any be worth a start over Wilson vs. LAC this week?

RB: Assuming Melvin Gordon is healthy, I'm fine. Hunt and Gordon carry the load. If he isn't healthy, or if I have to plug a flex spot, I've got the emerging Peyton Barber and Doug Martin available.

WR: My trio of Jones/Allen/Thomas have all finished their bye weeks. That means I have to choose between Jarvis "50% catch rate" Landry and suddenly anemic Kenny Golladay for flex spots.

TE: Set with my Burton/Cook duo, but also submitted a claim for Doyle. This week, Cook @SF or Burton @BUF?

D/ST: Ravens vs. PIT, Patriots vs. GB...or FA pickups - Cowboys vs. TEN, Skins vs. ATL, Raiders @SF, SF vs. OAK?

    Flex - Landry vs. KC, Golladay @MIN, Barber @CAR, D. Martin @SF?

    Thanks as always.

none of those guys are super appealing.. start wilson over fitz or smith

I'm starting golladay as the trades today free up some more targets for Golladay this weekend.

I would roll with Cook as he is getting a lot more looks now with cooper gone.

Scoop up the cowboys and play them.

Wilson has been a Td machine and has a great ROS schedule. You can roll with him.

Think I’d still Flex Landry due to matchup—I’m still a little worried about Golladay’s volume now that DET has been a little more run heavy. The trade of Tate does help, though.

    Start Cook v SF.

Are you rostering two D/ST? Only need to hold one. I’d also go with Dal of those choices this week.

I would not roster 2 QBs unless you have to.

I like Landry over Golladay due to the matchup this week, but love Golladay going forward with no Tate.

    Cook @ SF for me.

DST. Im a streamer, but Washington has been great lately. I would drop Baltimore for them and roll with it. Skins have Ryan outside on the road.
