No concerns, he's putting up great numbers and Pitty is rolling. When he needs to he will start firing the biscuit. He use to be a huge volume shooter but these days I wouldn't expect much more then the lows 200's.
Malkin's been good about averaging 3 shots per game or more for his career, until this year. It's still early, just 8 games in, but Malkin's shot rate is almost half that of past years. Has anyone noticed any changes in his style this year? More deferential, maybe? I'm a smidge concerned that he might be turning down the volume on his shooting.

12 Team Keep 5 (2 F, 1 D, 1 G, 1 Any) G,A,PTS,PPP,SOG,HITS,PIMS,W,GAA and Sv%.
F: Kucherov, K.Connor, J. Hughes,,J.Guentzel, A.Svechnikov, C.Giroux, T.Terry
D: Q. Hughes, A.Pietrangelo, J.Carlson, A.Ekblad, Sanheim
G:Bobrovsky, Ingram
If it was a career 2nd line player with a sharp decline in shot volume I would be concerned. Malkin, not so much.

not when he's got 3g 12a in 8gp as well. Dude's just dishing it out right now - that's 153.75pt pace. That could explode to a 180pt pace when his SOG return to career norms
