This would be funnier if it weren't an extremely likely scenario.

Wow.. Durrant leaves game... doubt he returns.. Here comes a Jurassic second half by the Raps. Time to turn it up and take it home.

They had the game in the bag and choked for a few key possessions

Health-wise Durant should not have been out there. He shot well but couldn't move well laterally on D and ultimately didn't last long. Looks like an achilles injury this time.

We blew it - had all the momentum, six point lead, possession and they were on the cusp of collapse.

Why Nurse called for that timeout I'll never understand... game completely changed coming out of that.

As I'm frustrated still on the final 3min, I'm not gonna comment on how I think Nurse over tinkered. But I will say, Draymond had a great close out on Lowry on the final shot where he fought through a Gasol screen, he got a finger tip on the shot too. I hate Green, but he played pretty well this game.

All the Warriors players calling Toronto trash for cheering for Durant's injury, when the crowd realized that he was hurt they gave him a standing ovation when he was leaving and chanted his name. Which all the players seem to ignore when calling the Toronto fans out for cheering for Durant. Or they don't realize it's a sign of respect and thought the crowd was cheering and chanting his name cause he was hurt.

Moving forward, Durant has a player option for the 2019-20 season. Who knows what happens, but if he tore his Achilles, there's a possibility that he could opt in to the deal, and make it back for playoffs next yr with the Warriors.

Last night was frustrating, but let's look at the bright side. The Raps screwed up their own momentum by calling those timeouts, Golden State was lights out on three-pointers while the Raptors were awful, Leonard didn't have a great game, Siakam didn't have a great game, Lowry didn't have a great game, and so on. And the Raps lost by only one point. There's no way all those scenarios play out in both game 6 and game 7 (if needed).

Only reason why it looks like Leonard had a bad game was cause they barely called any fouls on players who were crazy hacking him. Really, he was getting man-handled and no calls.

In the two games the Raptors lost they missed a crazy amount of uncontested shots

    In todays silly news:

    https://globalnews.ca/news/5376881/m...van1T2NifTjgpE

Whether or not the NBA’s Toronto Raptors take home the league championship after tonight’s basketball game, the team still faces a court battle of a very different kind.

Monster Energy, makers of a well-known sports drink, says the team’s logo of a clawed-up basketball is too similar to theirs.

The drink company has been fighting with the Raptors over the image before the U.S. Patent Office’s trial and appeal board since 2015.

That was almost right after Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, which owns the Raptors, registered the new design.

Monster has filed similar complaints in Canada and as far afield as Peru.

U.S. patent lawyer Josh Gerben says there is a small chance the Raptors could lose the right to the popular logo.

I think the copyright law dumbied down is, "if you show the Raptors logo and ask someone what does this look like?" and they answer "Monster" quickly enough, it's too close.
