Skydome denied a request to hold a viewing party in the Skydome. They said they deemed it was a better use of police and other city resources to concentrate on Jurassic Park and ScotiaBank Arena.

Apparently, some people have been lining up for Jurassic Park since after the game on Friday.

The one guy who brought a hot plate, camping stove, and the cooler of food has been giving conflicting reports. Basketball is a funny sport that way. It's a strong link sport and generally the addition of a star (even not 100 percent or if his legs aren't quite there) will be huge. They're able to find ways to score and adapt I find a bit better than other sports, generally. The addition of KD is huge.

I don't know if I've watched a full NBA game... which is odd since I played basketball in junior high and used to love the NBA Jam games as a kid. I kind of feel like I have to watch this tonight though... kind of one of those momentous occasions where all of Canada is watching like Crosby's Golden Goal or the Tragically Hip's final concert. A Canadian Heritage Moment in the making.
