He'd been too strong for AHL, I'd like to see how he adapts to the big league.
I think he deserves at least a game on the lineup.

Got his 1st point tonight, an assist. He's looking real good. You can see he's got high offensive potential. Reminds me of the good version of Enstrom.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

Huh? You're dropping a red-hot player with a track record and 12 points in his last 12 games for a rookie with one career point? That's a step backwards for you.

Just wonder if he’s a steal for years. Mike Green is 33 years old.

Pilut is looking great so far. Another assist last game. His points don't stand out yet with 2 in 5 games but he's getting more and more comfortable with each game. I really like his potential.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

Two points in his first five NHL games is a great start considering he gets third-pairing minutes and next to no PP time. That's a 33-point pace for a D that isn't put in a position to shine. I'd like to see him get more shots on goal though (both for goals and deflections) to help keep the points going beyond the initial burst.

Agreed. I think he'll start shooting more as he gains more confidence.

2pts in 5 games is a very small sample size to pull out season long production expectations from.

    I didn't do that. I pointed out why it's a great start.

Wow, that's facepalm-worthy again. The 33-point pace comment puts into perspective that he's off to a good start. I didn't say he'll finish the year with 33 points or even on that pace. Stop reading stuff that isn't there!
