I have to agree. I watched today's game and paid attention to him. He was playing with Okposo on the 3rd line. He didn't look terrible but I think 30 games or so in Rochester would help.Originally Posted by GinFizz

That's disappointing to hear.
I had high hopes for him and picked him pretty early in my draft thinking he could get me about 50 pts this season at a low salary.

Haven't seen him this year yet, but thought the high expectations were insane. As good as he is, there's not enough depth on that team for him and Eichel yet.

They should send him down for a couple of games...half a season. Let him play top minutes and get his confidence high again...

He wasn't a major offensive weapon last year in college so maybe he was a tad overrated as a rookie?

Well that's a bit of a downer. Everywhere I looked all summer long he was hyped so much. Potential Calder winner... or at least candidate. I watched him play in the World Juniors and was really impressed.
I could have taken Pettersson on draft day instead but I opted for Mittelstadt mainly because of his lower AAV salary and I already had alot of my cap space taken up.
Guess I'll just have to be patient and hope for the best sooner rather than later.
