Question Who are your early "buy-low" sleepers?

A few games are in the books, and there are undoubtedly a few diamonds in the rough out there that haven't really woken up yet, but could be difference makers in medium/deeper leagues. Guys that have sputtered out of the gate, but have tons of job security in the lineup, top PP unit, etc, and all the fancy stats seem to indicate it's just a matter of time before things get rolling. Who are some good guys to go after that fall into this category?

Fantasy owners are unlikely to part with big name superstar guys that have been a little sleepy so far, but you can often snag guys with less of a track record that are more unknown commodities.

Here are the guys I'm thinking about right how:

Huberdeau - demoted in the lineup, but likely just to send a message. Tons of talent in the top 6 and tons of points to be had.
Hoffman - nowhere to go but up.
    Dadonov - see Hoffman above.
Pavelski - once things start clicking, the Sharks could (should?) blow up offensively.
    Couture - see Pavelski.
Toffoli - tons of talent, and skating alongside Kopitar now. The Kings are sliding outside of their competitive window it seems, but he's going to get looks.
Allen - looks to be one of the most dropped players in Yahoo leagues. The Blues have struggled, but I can't imagine they'll continue to be this far off track.

There are a bunch of sophomore players out there off to slow starts, but then again, sophomore slumps can be a real thing.

    Who do you guys like?

Someone on the Coyotes has to eventually do something, anything... eventually. There are value buys to be had from this team.

Not sure people are going to be too keen on selling Stamkos right now, at least not for a discount. Nylander might be an interesting option if someone is losing patience. I like Ehlers and Boeser as options, particularly Ehlers.

Provorov could be an interesting choice, but it seems the Flyers only use one Dman on their first unit, and Ghost takes the cake there. I've also read that DeBrusk has a couple guys ahead of him on the pecking order for PP time. I like Fiala though, and Skinner to some extent (as well as Reinhart).

Forgot to mention Schmaltz, who could also blast off at any moment.

Yeah, I looked at Keller. There's a few sophomores out there (Boeser mentioned above too). Could definitely be an option worth taking a chance on. Personally, I'm always a little shy on second year pros.

... Klefbom might be a good add for this list too. And maybe Pietrangelo. And Murray & Schneider in goal.

Don?t know if he?s ?buy-low? or a sleeper, but Stepan is killing me.

Hamilton and Theodore are good candidates too I think.

Who the Hell is selling Dadonov low? He has played 4 games and has 2 goals and 2 assists. lol

Clayton Keller is a guy I am trying to buy low on right now. Galchenyuk comes back soon. The team may have a league worst +/-, but +/- is a stat I avoid trying to predict because it fluctuates too much even on good teams.

Have the Blues struggled or is it simply how bad Jake Allen is? 5 starts and he has allowed 3 or more goals in every game. His save percentage is at .871 and his GAA is at 3.91. He hasn't been very good since the Blues beat the Wild in the playoffs two years ago. I expect that the Blues won't be waiting long to give Ville Husso a shot at taking over their starting job if Allen keeps playing this way. I don't think this is a buy low opportunity on Allen.

The blues have definitely struggled. As has Allen. He certainly is not bailing them out.

The defensive structure they are using right now is ridiculous and they all want to kill the coach. Go to HFboards and browse the blues section and you will read all about it lol
