    Default My B. Schenn and a 3rd for Ekmann-larsson and a 2nd?

For second team in sig. 8 team league, 22 man roster, keep 15.

3 points for every 2 Goals (1.5 per) ALL
3 points for every Hat Trick ALL
3 points for every Power Play Goal ALL
2 points for every Power Play Assist ALL
3 points for every Short Handed Goal ALL
2 points for every Short Handed Assist ALL
1 point for every Assist ALL
1 point for every 10 Shots On Goal (0.1 per) C, LW, RW, D
1 point for every 20 Penalty Minutes (0.05 per) ALL

Any thoughts? This offer was sent to me, I originally rejected because I didn't think I wanted to give up Schenn. Having second thoughts and thinking maybe I should send it back? Maybe bump the pick coming my way up to a first, the other GM has 4 1st round picks so might not be a huge ask.

I think it's really close and probably not getting alot of opinions because of that. Looking at your team your strong at both positions.

I really liked what we saw out of Schenn last season and I see no reason why he can't repeat. OEL has been a dissapointment for a couple seasons. The talent is there but he always leaves me wanting more. Id hold Schenn.

Another offer that was sent to me was my Eichel and a 3rd round pick for his Clayton Keller and Ekman-larsson and a 2nd round pick. I declined immediately and said I didn't want to move Eichel but how close are Eichel and Keller?

Does Keller have winger eligibility in your league? I'd say your weakest position is LW.

You are very right. LW is very weak for me. Keller is listed as a F so is eligible for all 3 forward positions.
I have tried to move Schenn or Couturier for Keller but he woudn't go for it. Eichel seems to be the piece he needs to include Keller in the deal. I don't think I would want to move Eichel for Keller. If I was to move Eichel, maybe I would be better to try to acquire a couple better forwards and leave Ekmann-larsson out of the deal.
Some good young forwards the other GM has would be Aho, Connor, Ehlers, and Pacioretty (obviously not young, but still a decent LW compared to what I have)

Maybe something like Eichel and Schenn for Keller, Aho and Ekman-larsson? Maybe a 2 for 3 deal improving on a few spots I am weak at. I know my defence is pretty good, but having 1 more top guy would be ideal. Just hate the idea of losing Eichel as I feel he is a tier above Keller.

I like Eichel more than Keller. Some will debate that.

Both are really talented young forwards on bad teams with alot to prove still.

With Keller being eligible for all 3 forward positions, the addition of OEL, and a pick upgrade, this is really close and tempting for me. I think you give up the best player (which I almost never like) but meet a positional need and gain some depth. It probably makes your team better as you're trading from a position of strength and quality centers are the easiest to find.

The immediate decline from you likely tells him it will take more to move Eichel, I might press him on how much more he's willing to go and/or see if Schenn for Keller is at all feasible.

So this trade has popped up again kind of. Offer on the table right now is my Josi and Schenn for his Ekmann-larsson and Keller. Any thoughts on this offer?
