League in sig. I offered: Burns, Rantanen, Chabot for Subban, Laine, Shattenkirk.
My thought process is: Burns/Rantanen vs Subban/Laine is pretty close, and I might be giving up some points this year. However long term I think Laine could be an absolute stud keeper, and Burns is getting older. However maybe I'm underrating Rantanen.
The Chabot for Shattenkirk is mostly because Chabot is unproven and this is a 5th D trade, which NYR has more off nights and I think Shatty can turn it around a bit and produce decently this season being the #1 guy in NY.
Overall I think theres a good chance this gets accepted so I figured I'd best post here and make sure I'm not missing something. Ultimately Laine is the best player in this trade, right? (or is it Burns)

Yes, Laine is the best player in your league set up so he?s the player you want. You have to give to get. It?s a solid offer and very well could be accepted.
Burns > Subban
Rantanen < Laine
Chabot > Shattenkirk
The Chabot sweetener might get it done with his hot start. But I?m not sure the other owner will be willing to give up Laine. I wouldn?t anyways. Good luck.

I agree except that I get attached to guys and wouldn't want to give up Chabot. Personally I would rather give up Risto.

Personnaly, I think it's very close for Burn/Rantanen vs Subban/Laine but I would't do it because I prefer Chabot a lot vs Shattenkirk.

In a 5-keeper I'd do this trade pretty easily. Laine is the best player in the whole deal, given combo of age and what he brings multicat - in this format, frankly, Rantanen is not even close to him, people don't realize that while Rantanen will put up tons of points / PPPs, he's typically going to shoot a TON less than Laine. Then you have Subban v Burns and there age alone is a factor.
