Is it points only? Or is it the league in your signature that has G A PPG and SHG listed?

All things considered, it seems like a lateral move and I'd hold the waiver priority.

Yeah this feels like a lateral move without SOG/hits/blocks being counted. I'd pass.

Hornqvist is better than Zibanejad. Not sure if enough so to warrant loosing #1 waiver priority here however..

The rangers are going to ride that top line harder this year, count on Zibby playing a couple minutes more a night. Like guys have mentioned, it's pretty much a lateral move and not worth losing that waiver priority...

pretty much unanimous but if you need another vote I +1 this. I have Zib too and pretty lame start but the guy will have every opportunity to have 30g 20ppp 200+SOG 100+HITS. Not even to mention losing #1 waiver priority. I would hold tight
    12 TEAM H2H: G/A/PIM/PPP/SOG/FOW/HIT/BLK| W/GAA/SV%/SHO

    KEEPER SYSTEM:
    - 1 keeper allowed, but it cannot be your 1st or 2nd round pick from the previous years draft
    - Your keeper is then auto-drafted to your team 2 rounds earlier than you drafted him the previous year
    - Ex). Draft a guy in the 6th last year? He would be auto-drafted to your team in the 4th this year

I agree the OP shouldn't burn the waiver priority, but I'm not so sure Hornqvist is better than Zibs. If you look at Hornqvist's numbers since arriving in Pittsburgh he's mostly a 50-55-ish point player outside of his first season there, which was a career high pace. Their point per game numbers the last three seasons are quite similar:

    Hornqvist - .62, .63, .70
    Zib - .63, .66, .65

Both averaging out to about 53 points. Sure Hornqvist has the bonus of playing on a PP unit with Crosby/Malkin/ etc., but without the extra peripheral categories he loses a lot of value. Zibs is more of a focal point in NY and should be leaned on more this season. IMO they are quite equal in this setup, with Zib likely having a better shot at 60+.
