Thanks for all the comments. Funny thing is, he came to me originally. He originally offered Kucherov for Crosby 1 for 1. I was hesitant considering Crosby was my top centre and didn't really have much else to go with him unless you count Hischier.
Anyways, I countered back with Crosby and Svechnikov for his Kucherov and Eichel. I figured each of us giving up a centre and RW and I was banking on the idea that Eichel was more proven than Svechnikov so that was where I was "winning" the deal.
He declined and sent back a counter replacing Svechnikov with Toews.

I obviously accepted the deal with a smile.

It's a brand new league started by a GM who is part of another league I am in. I don't know anyone else in this league except the one GM. I was trying to be fair but if the other GM insists on downgrading his half of the deal, not much I can do. lol
