    Default Kucherov for Seguin

Got this offer, but We Keep 5 (3F,2D/1G) so if I do move him, id definitely need a keeper or two upgrades back. However, I'm having a hard time figuring out who to try and acquire if I do move him

    Kucherov(RW) + 5th for Seguin (C) + 3rd

    Categories are G,A,PPP,FOW,SOG,HITS,BLKS

I should aim higher and get a better package than that if dealing Kuch right?

I get that you have FOWs so centers have more value but honestly in a keep 5 league I want kuch at RW over seguin at center.

don't panic early on. kuch will push for the points leader year in and year out. seguin can also but in my mind its not close.

Yes aim higher (honestly don?t sell on Licherov after 2 games). But if you are set on moving him, this is a losing deal. Wingers are a much more shallow position so going from a 90 point winger to an 80 point center, even with the draft pick upgrade, is not good for you. Kucherov is one of those guys that you?d really have to completely blow me away with an offer to actually trade him.

Way.. WAYYY to early to be bailing on Kucherov. He only played his 2nd game tonight! Even if you trade him for Seguin you are gifting that owner an extra 15-20pts when all said and done. Wait for TB to get a few more games in and shake the rust off.

Kucherov looked terrible last game. You should trade him while he still has value. I mean, he has 0 points in 2 games, he can't possibly recover from this slow start.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

As far as value goes it's not the worst but your team definitely needs Kucherov at RW more than it needs another top C.

Here's my view on FOW for a center versus a wing. Unless the center has winger eligibility or there is a utility spot in play, the FOWs don't matter. The team that gets Kucherov will have a center that gets FOWs.

So I stick with Kucherov straight up over Seguin but it wouldn't take that much of a sweetner to make the trade. I love how Dallas is playing under Montgomery and I think Seguin is going to have a career year.

In a keep 5 I would not be trading Kucherov for Seguin ? there are cheap centers a-plenty in the draft that win lots of FW and wingers of Kuch?s quality are so few

Gotta stay the course. Kuch 0 points in 2 games. Seguin 8 in last 2. It is easy to get swept away with recency bias. Try and remember it is an 82 game season and everybody will have hot streaks and cold steaks. Nobody knows for sure what the future holds but you extrapolate data from the last hundred or more games played and that can at least put you in the wheelhouse for a fairly accurate prediction almost every time. 2 games. Not so much.

Seguin averaged 75 points last 2 seasons.
Kucherov averaged 92.5 points last 2 season with 12 fewer games.

I know which player I am putting my money on.

But Hitch is gone and Montgomery favors an up-tempo game. I have watched a couple Dallas games this season and have really liked what I've seen.

I agree that I like what I have seen from Dallas offensively so far this season. As well, I do believe Seguin could well be headed for a career year (83+ points).
Seguin's higher shot totals and F/O wins being offset by Kucherov positional scarcity (RW). In the end it could be very close, I just think Kucherov is the safer play.
