Hey guys,
Given my team in the sig, once S. Jones is back would you drop Dahlin for a streaming spot? There are no trades in this league, but unlimited waiver wire claims.

I agree in a one year league Dahlin is your drop. Dahlin might get a bit more opportunity as the season pogresses, and a few looks at the top PP, but unfortunately for him Risto looks to be playing the best hockey of his career. Risto's vision and outlet passes against Vegas last game were absolutely sublime. He was the straw that stirred the drink and a big reason Buffalo came away with the win. Risto has looked fantastic in all aspects of the game. It will be quite some time (IMO) before Dahlin can achieve that level of vision, skill and poise at the NHL level. My guess would be a few more years.

I saw that he completed like 20 of 21 outlet passes in that game, just unreal. I'm so glad I took a gamble on him with the Dahlin hype.

Thanks guys. I just don't see myself ever slotting him in over Subban, Hamilton or Jones (once back). The FA list isn't too bad either in case I did need to grab another D to max out games!
