I used a very valuable SWAP and dropped him Oct 24 when he had 4 points, 3 seconds b4 he got hot. Now has 27. So he has 23 since I dropped him.
I added Bergeron in his place and then IR'd Bergeron with Krejci. Between them they have 24 points for me.
So plus 1. Waste of a SWAP. Sure hope Bergy lights it up when he gets back.
On the season, Ehlers now has more points than other guys on my team such as E Staal, Tank, Keller and Voracek. Geez
SOME POOL RULES. Points only (G-1, A-1). One year Hybrid Pool. 3 round draft with balance of roster selected from any undrafted NHLer.. 19F 4 D 2 Rooks SALARIES AND POSITIONS DO NOT MATTER (other than being a F or D). A hurt player can be replaced by another F/D from HIS NHL team and this is NOT considered a trade.. Injured player can be put back on team any time.

Ehlers could actually be a buy low because of this (bas start, coach missuse, etc. ) it might coverup a break out since even with all this, he is pacing for numbers in the vicinity of the last two years. I haven’t followed close enough to understand what went on but IMO it is still showing he has untapped potential. Grab him now, before he pulls a Rantanen next year.

I'm not sure he has Rantanen upside, but I think somewhere around 80 points is attainable.

I’m not either but not many (if any) were saying of Rantanen that he had that kind of upside.

I also thought Rantanen (and Barzal) met his absolute upside last year. But he seems content to blow that away this year, so what do I know. As for Ehlers, I believe he can hit 80 though his deployment on a deep Jets team currently cuts into that. So expect to be a little more patient if you are holding onto Ehlers, I think it will pay off.
