    Default Maxime Comtois

Hoping to hear from someone that caught the game how he looked out there. I know he scored on his first shot but I'm curious if he looks like he belonged -- the recent prospects rambling suggests he was "already a load to handle" so if anyone saw him I'm hoping they can elaborate

I drafted him last year in my dynasty league draft (it's usually 90% guys from that year's entry draft); I recall at the beginning of his draft year he was seen as a potential top-10 pick, but then had a rough year and didn't improve and really plummeted down the rankings. I took a gamble on him bouncing back and grabbed him at 39, which in retrospect might have been a bit bold. Maybe it works out after all?

I didn't watch the game the other night. But he had a great preseason and seems to be playing with some confidence. After watching a bunch of his highlights, his game reminds me a bit of Jamie Benn. Now, I'm not saying he will end up being as good as Benn, but he looks like a prototypical power forward. Poweful skating ability and often beats goalies off the rush with his heavy shot. He's also got pretty slick hands in tight around the net. Doesn't give up on pucks. High-energy player with sandpiper that teammates and fans will enjoy. I'm pretty high on him, but not sure what will happen when the Ducks start getting healthy.

As a Comtois owner in one of my leagues, this is music to my ears!

    Comtois
    Lundestrom
    Sherwood

Not sure why I added this, just seems like a lot for a team not in a rebuild.

this list really drives home how well they draft for a team that's usually picking in the back end of the first

2 goals in 2 games now! I did not expect him to even play in the NHL this year, and here he is living the dream with a better start than he could have ever asked for

It's called injuries... good on them to have enough Depth to fill in the gaps.

Comtois seems ok to me... 45-50pt guy for a full season.
