    Default Lineup Strategy

Any thoughts on best strategy for lineup construction? Balanced team or stars & scrubs approach? Players who will score the most points or whose value will rise the most?

I?m interested to hear other strategies!

I went low with goalies...tried to build on forwards in that $3M range, and then went with one big name (won't say who) - but no players over $6M except one goalie, since goalies in general are expensive. Ideally, I can flip a few of these at a profit a week in, and then maybe have $52M to play with and start improving the star power bit by bit. When you lay the groundwork to build value you can add star power and the points come faster

I'm all about finding value and hoping their price goes up. Early on, I'd be okay with being low in the cap if I thought all the players I owned are going to increase in value.
Owning a big name early doesn't help if his value goes down early because everyone couldn't afford to find a spot for him. I'll buy that big name later when I've got money and his value is lower.
(Which is basically what Dobber is saying, so I feel good about the suggestion!)
