I played 5or6 years ago. Found it a bit clunky.
Struggled to get my team up yesterday - probably took 15-20min (too long).
I don't really need another contest to check up on... but as a fan of the wonderful small community that IS DobberHockey, I wanted to give some feedback to this thread.
With 4 leagues on Yahoo!, 3 on Fantrax, 40hr job, wife, 2 kids, usual around-the-house stuff, and 40+yr old declining brain/body... it's just not another 5-10min per day I can afford, honestly.

My picks for yesterday's games (Marner, Pastrnak) didn't do so hot. Freddie Anderson did get me some points.
I also picked several young kids hoping to get "stock rise": Rasmussen-DET had nice price, Sam Steel-ANA, Iafallo-LAK, Foegele-CAR, too.

Today I checked standings & sorted.
I don't mind the fantasy points standings - that is what it is (though a MAJOR knock by me is that scoring doesn't appear anywhere simple, like the player pages)
But the "Value" standings... IDK... I feel "gamed". It's been ONE day. 4 NHL gp.

Here's what I see when I sort by the "Value" column header:

My pattern recognition tells the rest of my brain "This is not a game you can win."
Roulette, slot machine, Dobbernomics.

Money would definitely be an added inducement - or even without money, a regularly published leader-board would spice up interest. For me personally it's about capacity. I'm managing 12 teams in Yahoo and 2 in Fantrax and I've got my full!

This makes no sense since no player has a change in value of greater than 0.02 according to what I could find searching through the players list. 12 players per team with a max increase of 0.02 leads to the biggest possible value increase of 0.24.
