This one is looking good. Four gone so far, and at least three on the hot seat (in Anaheim, Philly and Pittsburgh).

I know hindsight is always 20/20, but #8? Stammer had 2 fewer goals than Miller had points!

    Here are my results:

The top four goal scorers combined will score more goals than the entire Ottawa Senators.

The top four goal scorers (Ovi, Draisaitl, Tavares and Stamkos) had 193 goals. The Sens had 242. They were much better than I anticipated.

Tomas Plekanec will be top-two in even strength ice time for the Habs this year (either by the time he is traded or if he finishes the year with the club).

    That obviously didn't happen.

The Strome brothers will be the highest-scoring brother duo in the NHL.

I think this is a hit. The Strome brothers combined for 92 points (although it took both being traded). The Staals combined for 80. The Benns combined for 75. No other brother combination came close (unless I am missing an obvious one). Unless Kucherov had a brother that played a game, this counts as a hit.

At least five coaches are fired by the all-star break.

Hit. Chicago, Edmonton, St. Louis, Philly and L.A. all fired a coach before the NHL All-Star break. Kind of funny when you consider no NHL coach was fired in-season during 2017-18.

Three Nashville players will hit 70 points (they haven't had any in a decade).

Did I mean to say 50 points? No one even reached 65. Johansen had 64, Josi had 56 and Forsberg had 50.

Still, two out of five ain't bad.

What about the Tkachuk brothers? You might be one for five.

Combined 107 points for the Tkachuk brothers. Still, a bit better than I would have expected for the Stromes.

No more than 5 goalies will get 5+ shutouts
9 Goalies had 5 or more this season, this was the highest voted option in the poll. Last season, 8 goalies had 5+.

JVR will score more goals than Patrik Laine
2 other people voted for this with me and we were close! 27 for JVR and 30 for Laine.

Philly will finish in the top 3 among team goals scored
Philly ended up finishing 17th with 244 GF - 3rd was SJS with 289.

At least 9 players will score 30+ goals without 200 SOG
45 players scored 30+ goals this season however, only 8 did it without 200 SOG and they were:
    Point (41G , 191SOG)
    Pavelski (38G, 188SOG)
    Scheifele (38G, 199SOG)
    Hertl (35G, 176SOG)
    Arvidsson (34G), 195SOG)
    Stone (33G, 199SOG)
    Duchene (31G, 172SOG)
    Rantanen (31G, 193SOG)

Last year only 32 players scored 30+ goals and 6 of them did it with less than 200SOG.
