trotz has taken a liking towards tanner fritz fwiw & those projected lines that JP posted doesnt even include A.Ladd (ntc)
no idea if isles-kovar have an escape euro clause but he doesnt need waivers to be sent to AHL and make a cool 2 m down there on his one way deal to at least begin the season .

Kovar isn't going to produce playing with scrubs on the 4th line. The whole point in acquiring the guy is so you can have a Center who is proven to be an effective compliment to skilled players, as a backup plan for Brock Nelson. I'm not really sure what their plans are with their actual lineup. But it's a weird roster, and not a whole lot of skill outside the top-six. Martin-Cizikas-Clutterbuck isn't going to cut it as your third line. Komarov-Filppula-Fritz? Sheesh.

Word was he was having issues adjusting to the smaller ice. I heard he wanted to go down and work on his game...strange now that he's not sure he wants to report.
