I really don't know but I put him in my farm team and hope that he will be a nhl starter in 2 season.
A good thinh is that he don't have a big competition in Philly for the future
Any projections on him for this season? When do you guys think we might see him as the Flyers number 1 guy?

Not this year. Maybe next year, but more likely a couple years away still. He is very young to be a starting goalie in the NHL.

With most teams he's probably not playing this year.
Philly has a terrible and injury prone goalie tandem, only a matter of time before he gets called up. My guess would be he gets in this year around December and bounces around for the rest of the year unless it's clear he's better than the alternatives.
Philly media and fan base seem to be pulling for this too from what I've read. As I understand it he was the best goalie for them in preseason.
My thoughts in the preseason were that he's not going to get more than a few games maximum with the Flyers, and that was with injuries running rampant.
Injuries are running rampant, and they went and got Pickard. I don't see him leaving Lehigh Valley (AHL) for a long period, unless he looks like he needs to be demoted to Reading (ECHL) for a bit. I doubt that happens with the injuries all over, but right now Lehigh Valley has all of Stolarz, Lyon, and Hart as options in net.
