Been leaning towards Kuznetsov. Not many 80+ pt players available. (Panarin, Giroux, Kopitar, Ovechkin)
Normally I prioritize defenseman but aside from Hedman both Krug and Barrie are available. (so might be in 2nd round)
Wondering about Murray at this salary. (Protected Goalies : Holtby, Anderssen, Vasilevski, Fleury, Hellebuyck, Gibson and Dubnyk)

Put me down for Hedman on this one. Like you said, not many 80+ forwards, but there are even fewer Dmen that can hit 65 to 70 points every year. If you look at the way defense salaries are moving then you see John Carlson getting 8 million. Those putting up points are getting paid, OEL is making more than 8 million and he hasn’t come close to Carlson or Hedman. I think Hedman at under 8 million is going to be the better bargain in the long run than Kuz.

Hedman. there are way more 80 point forwards available than 55 point defensemen, even if you count Krug & Barrie as that level.

I like it a lot. this is why knowing your league is key. You thought Hedman would be there in round 2, and he was there for you. Jones in round 5 over Murray is a much better value.Originally Posted by pumpkinxyz
