The owner of the #1, 4, 7 pick has said he is willing to deal #4 + #7 + Hart for my #2. Basically only 2018 draftees are available with the exception of Donato, and Jokiharju. I also have pick #8 so this gives me back to back picks at 7/8.
#4 would be Wahlstrom. Potentially would be taking Donato/Kratsvov at 7/8 then.
I could maybe even squeeze Kunin or Cirelli out of him. Thoughts?

Stamkos Eichel Seguin panarin Aho ghost Letang raanta Lundqvist and one of Reinhart/Hutton are keepers. Goaltending sucks as you can see. I do have Saros + Gillies on my rookie roster. I'd say Hart would certainly help me. I'm on the edge of being very competitive as I also have mittelstadt, tolvanen, borgstrom, and Strome if he pans out coming up (amongst other decent guys like Vilardi, kyrou, etc).

I like that deal. The difference in certainty between #2 & #4 is small to non-existent. You get 2 extra shots at great producers.

Getting Hart really sets you up long term in the G dept. I like the idea of having G prospects at different stages of their development this gives you a nice progression moving forward. You're pretty strong up front with your keepers so this deal just makes a lot of sense for you overall.

will do. I flipped #4 for #5+#19+1st Jan waiver (we do a monthly waiver draft, and Jan waivers can be good for grabbing rookies as it is post WJC). There is a decent chance the guy takes Hughes at #4 (huge Vancouver fan - owns all but Pettersson for their prospects) so I could still end up with Wahlstrom.

Draft is done. To summarize I traded #2 for #5 + #7 + #19 + Hart + a waiver pick. This was the combination of the two trades mentioned above.
With those picks, I essentially turned Svechnikov into Zadina + Kratvsov + Denisenko + Hart + a waiver pick.
